Academy Manager: Rebecca NUTTALL
Alongside her role as club secretary, Rebecca is also our Academy Manager.
technical lead: Chris Baker
Chris has been a part of our coaching staff for seven seasons. During this time, he has worked with a variety of age groups, ranging from our U12s to U16s. Chris’ current position at the Club is the Technical Lead. During the 2021/2022 season, Chris took on the role of our Youth Team Head Coach. In terms of his coaching credentials, Chris is a current A Licence candidate. Chris is also first team club captain.
youth phase lead: Jack Lyons
Jack has been a part of Cardiff Met FC for five seasons. Working across a range of age groups from U9’s to U19’s, currently in the roles of Youth Phase Lead as well as assistant coach of the U19/Reserve training squad. Jack is also currently completing his UEFA B licence.
foundation phase lead: Emlyn lewis
workforce recruitment lead: Eliot evans
A Cardiff Met first team player and Wales C International, Eliot has been a part of our coaching set up for three seasons and has coached our U14 and 16 squads within the Youth Development Phase and is currently a UEFA ‘A’ Licence holder.
head of academy education: Charlie corsby
Charlie is currently Head of Academy Education, a UEFA ‘A’ Licence accredited coach and also holds a PhD in Coaching. Working closely with a number of coaches in the academy, Charlie has a special interest in learning and development throughout the academy. Another first team player who has combined his playing career with a keen interest in coaching, Charlie is also a lecturer at the University.
